Suchst du nach unkonventionellen, kreativen Wegen, wie wir die Klimakrise verhandeln können?

Suchst du nach einem Raum, in dem du dich mit Anderen über die Klimakrise austauschen, Kraft schöpfen und Verbindungen aufbauen kannst? Verstehst du Klimawandel als ein Problem globaler Gerechtigkeit?
Was beschäftigt DICH in der Klimakrise? Welche Geschichten möchtest du über die Klimakrise erzählen? Was gibt dir Antrieb, Motivation und Hoffnung dich für Klimagerechtigkeit zu engagieren? Was bedeutet es für dich radikal zu sein? Und was lässt dich (ver-)zweifeln, was sind Herausforderungen und Hindernisse in dir und im außen, die dich davon abhalten aktiv zu werden?

Wenn dich diese Fragen interessieren und beschäftigen, laden wir vom TdU Wien in Kooperation mit dem GLOBAL 2000 Team*Aktiv dich zu einer offenen, kritischen und lustvollen Theaterwerkstatt vom 28.11.-1.12. in der Mühle Nikitsch (Burgenland) ein. Die Theaterwerkstatt soll ein gemeinsamer Lernraum sein, in dem wir mit theatralen Methoden (vor allem aus dem Theater der Unterdrückten) gemeinsam die multiplen Krisen, unsere Rolle(n) darin und den Wegen zu mehr Klimagerechtigkeit und Resilienz beforschen.
ZIELE
Während der Theaterwerkstatt werden wir ein Forumtheaterstück erarbeiten, das am 4.12.2019 im GLOBAL 2000 Büro in Wien gezeigt wird. Diese Theaterwerkstatt soll Ausgangspunkt sein für die Gründung eines Resilient Revolt Theaterkollektivs in Wien.
Resilient Revolt ist eine europäische Theater der Unterdrückten (TdU) – Bewegung, die im Sommer 2019 in Slowenien in einer Theater-Residence mit Aktivist_Innen und Theatermacher_Innen aus ganz Europa gegründet wurde um die Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegungen auf künstlerische Weise zu unterstützen und mehr politisches Bewusstsein angesichts der Klimakrise zu schaffen.

Wenn du neugierig geworden bist, dann schreib uns bitte bis 8.11.2019 eine Email an joschka.koeck@tdu-wien.at und sophie.baumgartner@tdu-wien.at , in der du folgende Fragen beantwortest:
→ Was ist deine Motivation bei der Theaterwerkstatt mitzumachen?
→ Was beschäftigt dich am meisten in Bezug auf die oben gestellten Fragen?
→ Wie stehst du zu der Möglichkeit Teil eines Theaterkollektivs für Klimagerechtigkeit zu werden? Mit welchen (zeitlichen) Ressourcen?
Es gibt Platz für maximal 25 Teilnehmer_Innen – Schreib uns deshalb sobald wie möglich, Deadline für Anmeldungen ist der 8.11.2019. Wir melden uns kurz danach bei dir mit verbindlicher Zu- oder Absage.
Wir suchen aktiv nach Menschen, die sich für Klimagerechtigkeit interessieren, aber nicht aus der weißen, akademischen Mittelschicht kommen: Migrant_Innen, Queers, Arbeiter_Innen, People of Colour und Menschen, die von der Gesellschaft behindert werden very welcome!
Bitte leitet diese Einladung auch an Menschen in deinem Freund_Innen und Bekanntenkreis weiter.
KOSTEN
Die Theaterwerkstatt findet zum Selbstkostenpreis statt, ihr zahlt also nur für die Deckung von Unterkunft und Verpflegung. Dafür sind die Kosten pro Person für vier Tage 100€, was auch das Essen und die Unterkunft für die Leitung und die Kochenden beinhaltet.
Wir arbeiten nach Prinzipien der solidarischen Ökonomie: Wer mehr geben kann, gibt mehr, damit Menschen, die sich die Werkstatt sonst nicht leisten könnten auch teilnehmen können.

RESILIENT REVOLT – Theatre workshop for climate justice
Are you looking for unconventional, creative ways of negotiating about the topics related to climate crisis?
Would you like your resistance to be pleasurable and playful?
Are you looking for a space where you can exchange views on the topic of climate crisis, gain strength, and build connections? Do you understand climate change as an issue of global justice?
What concerns YOU in the climate crisis moviment? Which stories about the climate crisis would you like to share? What gives you drive, motivation and hope to engage in the topic of climate justice? What does it mean for you to be radical? And what makes you doubt these issues, what are the challenges and obstacles you see in yourself and in the outside that prevent you from becoming active?

If you are interested and concerned with these questions, we, Theater of the Oppressed Vienna in cooperation with the GLOBAL 2000 Team *, invite you to get involved in an opened, critical and pleasurable theater workshop from 28.11.-1.12. in Mühle Nikitsch (Burgenland). The theater workshop should be a common learning space in which we use theatrical methods (mostly from the theater of the oppressed) to investigate multiple crises, our role(s) therein, and the ways to expand climate justice and resilience.
TARGETS
During the theater workshop we will work on a forum theater piece which will be shown on 4.12.2019 in the GLOBAL 2000 office in Vienna. This theater workshop should be the starting point for the founding of a Resilient Revolt theater collective in Vienna.
Resilient Revolt is a European Theatre of the Oppressed movement which was founded in Summer 2019 in Slovenia with activists and performers from all over Europe. It sets out to support climate justice movements with the arts and create more consciousness around the climate crises.

We are actively looking for people who are interested in Climate Justice but are not from white academic middle classes: Migrants, Queers, workers, people with mixed abilities and people of colour very welcome!

COSTS
The theater workshop is for free. You only have to pay for covering accomodation and food!
The cost to cover food and venue for one person for four days will be 100€. This also includes covering the expenses for the hosts and the cooking people.
The theater workshop operates on the principle of solidarity economy. Who can give more, gives more, so that those who cannot afford the (full) cost can also participate.
